You can fix the vehicle properly, or you can try one of the various stop leak additives available at your local parts store. It will, of course, depend on where the trans is leaking from, but usually the gasket needs to be replaced where the transmission meets the bell housing.

These leaks are from worn seals. It is best to go to a specialist. For small leaks, you can pour in a transmission stop leak product, which expands the seals.

Well there are products designed to temporarily fix some problems however these usually don't last. The best thing is to actually find and fix whatever is leaking.

First find out where the leak is coming from. Check any gaskets, check the reservoir for any cracks or imperfections. If the problem is due to a crack in the reservoir some epoxy putty can fix that. If it's a gasket then just replace it.
