The best thing to do if you have a grass allergy is to take your medication, do any exercise early in the day, and avoid yard work in the afternoon.

You can, of course, go to your doctor and get a prescription for allergies. Over the counter, Claritan D or a antihistamine will work great on allergies of any kind.

Try to stay indoors for a few hours after the grass has been cut. When you do go outside wear sun glasses. Take anti histamine tablets or, if you do not like taking medication, you could try the natural approach. This being eat at least a spoonful of locally produced honey each day. This builds up a natural immunity.
