This fracture to the top of the left upper arm bone with a shoulder sling or brace if the bone wasn't moved severely out of place. Otherwise, surgery is needed.

If the fracture is minor and is not dislocated than it can be treated with immobilization. If the segments are dislocated a surgery is required. If one of the segments press over the nerves and causes paresthesia a surgery is required as well.
