Try to assess the reason for it. Has his diet changed. If yes, most likely that is the cause. If not, he may have an infection and need antibotics.

Two or three times a week is very frequent. You should start by having your dog checked by a vet to rule out the possibility that your dog has intestinal parasites or an infection. Your dog may also need a change of diet, and the vet can advise you on this as well.

How much do you feed your dog? 6 cups for adults and 8-10 for pups. Also, what type of food plays a huge part. Good luck.
