What can I do to prevent my toddlers from screaming?

They will outgrow this stage soon. In the meantime, you could try telling them No! every time they scream, and giving some small punishment, like a two minute time out.

Tell them that it's not acceptable and they should use their indoor voices. If they scream after you tell them to stop put them in time out and let them think about it. Reward them for good behavior.

Explain to them why they shouldn't do this, and if they continue to do this, put them in time out. If they consistently don't do this, reward them for not.

Ignore them as much as possible. If you are in a social situation where they are disturbing others, you need to remove them. Don't talk to them until they calm down, they won't hear you anyway. Show no reaction, and they will learn it doesn't get them their way.
