You can take a vitamin that is found at any pharmacy or WalMart that is for hair and nail growth and strength. Take that. Also buy a good nail strengthening polish that you can paint on about every other day. Keep your nails short and filed until they start gaining strength. Eat lots of iron.

First, quit chewing or picking at them. Take a good basic multivitamin and eat or drink gelatin-based products. Knox Gelatine makes flavored gelatin drink packets that provide nails nutritional support.

The key to long and strong nails is nutrition. You must eat healthily, take proper vitamins and minerals, and of course drink water. To be more specific, you should east fresh fruits and vegetables, take a regular multivitamin daily; and divide your weight by two, and that number is the amount of water you should drink per day in ounces.
