Perhaps, they are low quality batteries. The best batteries are kirkland by Costco or also dynacell. Make sure you recharge them after. And also remember even if you recharge batteries, they are only good for a year.

Usually that is an indication that your batteries are no longer going to hold a charge. Which means they are sort of useless, it happens every now and again. Get new rechargeable batteries and make sure your charger is working as well.

This is not unusual. Especially if the batteries are very old. As the batteries are charged over and over again they wear out. Eventually they cannot hold a charge. Simply buy new ones and dispose of the old ones appropriately. If they are not that old they may be defective and you should have them replaced.

Some companies such as Enerigizer may offer a money back promise. First, try to ensure that the batteries have been charged completely, over night. If this doesn't work, contact the number on the package for a refund.

All rechargeable batteries have a maximum amount of recharges before they completely go bad and can no longer be used. The only thing you can try is to charge it completely and then use the batteries until they are completely dead. Then let it recharge for at least 8 hours. If this doesn't work, replace the batteries

This generally means that they are worn out and you need new batteies. In very rare instances you can charge them for a long period of time and they will gain back their life, but this is very unlikely. You should dispose of the batteries you have properly, not throw them in the trash and replace them.

Rechargeable batteries are only desinged to last 8 months to a year. The key to make them last longer is to fully charge them and then let them fully deplete before charging them again. They have an internal memory, if you only chage them short amounts of time then thats about how long they will last.

Your batteries are pretty much done. To regain life, you need an advanced battery charger such as the lacrosse bc-700; it has the capability to restore battery life.

Discharging power while not being used is normal for these batteries, though if they're beginning to discharge too fast, you should consider whether they might be old and need replacement.

Well it is common for batteries to die gradually over time without use. However if they rapidly die then it may mean that they simply are old and need replaced.
