What can I do if my oak sapling leaves are developing a white furry mold, turning brown and dying?

oak sapling, leaves are developing a white furry mould then turning brown and dying,what can i do?

There's not much that you can do. Try replanting the sapling to somewhere dryer with more sunlight, and removing any leaves that exhibit the mold. The tree itself might be infected with a fungus, though. Anti fungicides can help, but are often dangerous. You might just be out of luck.

When mine did it I went to my local nursery and they told me to get a fungiside and srayp it on in the evenings after the sun went down until it was gone then to each evening go out and spray the leaves with a mixture of dawn dish detergent and warm water to keep rid of it.

This is a costly procedure. You are best to just to just wait to see what frost and spring bring.

got sapling april last year and this has been happening since new leaves then mould then leaves turn brown and dry and drop off. also seems to be fine almost web like stuff on the end of the leaves although i can see no bugs or mites. please help.
