Most of the time when a window stops working it is do to a bad switch. Try replacing the switch to see if that helps. If none of the windows go up it may just be a blown fuse or the locking mechanism may be stuck.

The best thing you can do is get an electric motor from the junk yard for it for probably a few dollars. You can just take the door panel off and you will see it right under the glass behind it. Very easy to do job for do it yourself people.

Call around to local junkyards and see if they have an MX3 that's your year. If so then you should be able to get another window motor for cheap. You can also just buy a new window motor from any autoparts store or Mazda dealer.

While the door is open take either side of the glass and try pulling upwards gently. If the glass does more upwards, take some black electrical tape and tape the outline of the window. Black tape hides the fact that your window is broken so no one will break in.
