Some people swear by a paste of baking soda and water applied to the sting site to relieve itching and swelling from wasp stings. Other homemade remedy suggestions include icing the location or applying aloe vera. Some people find relief applying an over the counter hydrocortisone ointment to the affected area, including any portion that is red.

There are two things I know of that can help. If you have any hydrocortisone cream or an oral allergy medication, these can help calm the allergic reaction that is causing the itching. You can also make a paste with powdered meat tenderizer and a little water to apply to the sting.
