The most important thing you can do is not to show him pity or grief. It will cause him a lot of useless depression. Try instead to emphasize small, simple but wonderful things that surround him, how insignificant they might appear. Don't be fake. Bring him small but unusual presents.

Pancreatic cancer is bad and it makes me sad to hear anyone is suffering with this. Try to help them keep a healthy diet and make them eat even if they care not to. Keep doctor appointments and they will give them medications that make you feel better. Get rest and, if able, fresh air will help.

There is not much you can really do. You can control some of the symptoms and disease that result from it like controlling blood sugar and replacing pancreatic enzymes, but all that's really left is just pain control and management by an oncologist.

If he is dying there is nothing that you can do, but be there for him while he is still alive. Make him as happy as possible.
