Proper brushing and flossing will make the mouth healthier. A electric toothbrush does a great job at cleaning the teeth. As for flossing there is a great deal of gadgets out there for those who just cant hold the floss. When brushing pay attention to the gumline.

First, you have to make sure there is nothing stuck in your gums. There are over-the-counter products containing peroxide that may help. Or rinse with a warm salt water solution.

Antibiotics are most often prescribed for infection and you must get these from your doctor or dentist. Inflammation may go away once the infection does. Rinse your mouth with salt water and avoid any type of know irritants to the mouth, such as acidic foods and juices, and salty things like chips.
