Grasshoppers eat other bugs. If they are a bother, try spraying them with garlic oils or a mixture of garlic and water. You can capture them and relocate them. They are attracted to something that you have in the area. You can kill them but that would be inhumane. You can plant trees that are grasshopper repellants.

The are many forms of pest control. I would suggest spraying a household bug spray on the screens. If this fails, consult a professional.
