You could moisturize your eyelids by putting a small amount of facial lotion on them or putting baby oil on them.

My suggestion to you is to invest in some eye moisturizer or eye cream and put it on your eyelids every day and every evening. Your eyelids are dry because they are lacking proper moisture, so in order to alleviate this, you must begin to moisturize your eye lids daily.

Dry eyelids are very common. You can find numerous eye creams that are safe to use on your eyes. I know Mary Kay has two. One is Age Fighting eye cream and the other is Eye Firming cream. You also want to make sure that your eyeshadow is not drying out your eyelids.

Direct Treatments for Dry Skin on Eyelids: When you have dry skin on your eyelids, this may be an indication of blepharitis or inflammationof the eyelids. It's best to have your physician confirm this for you beforeyou self-medicate. Eyedrops would be the first thing to try. Blink a few times after you put them in so they coat the underside of your eylids. If those don't help I would go to the eye doctor. Perhaps it's a form of chronic dry eye.

First off, make an appointment to see your ophthalmologist. Until then, you can use artificial tears which you can buy from any drug store or grocery store.
