Other than the typical A&D ointment I used a tea tree oil salve, which help clear any little problem areas up really fast. But I also used the A&D and lathered in on really good so my son's bum won't contact the diaper directly, which worked well too and was probably cheaper.

Getting a good thick diaper cream that will protect the blisters from moistureis important at this point. Try to avoid foods that will be especially acidic as to not further irritate the blisters. Changing often and keeping as clean as possible is advisable.

There are many creams out there that can help you with this. Another thing you might want to do is change type of diaper.

This could be an allergic reation or diaper rash. Keep the diaper area extremely clean, rinsed with clear water, and dry. Change diaper brands and to unscented/gentle wipes. If using cloth diapers, use unscented launry detergent and double rinse. Or check with your pedatrician about changing formulas.

You should change the brand of diapers that you are using. If your child is getting blisters it is more than likely an allergic reacation to the materials in the diaper. Till then use Beaudreaux Butt Paste. That is the best product on the market for diaper rashes.

The best thing I have found for diaper rashes, blisters, and irritations is to let the baby go without a diaper for as long as possible, as often as possible. Diapers get very wet, and can very easily irritated their sensitive skin. Just lay the child on a safe surface, on top of a towel.
