Many people with astigmatism need glasses, but there may be something else wrong. It is a good idea to go back to your doctor and inform him that the problem hasn't improved, or see another doctor about the problem.
That for sure is something that should be discussed wtih your doctor. You need to let him or her know that your problem is progress and seek options to fix the problem.
