In part, this depends on the digestion issue. However, basic things you can do is feed them two smaller proportioned meals a day instead of one larger one. Also research the food you feed them in case of allergies. Some dogs can't handle the grains in many dry foods.

If you are feeding your dog a wet food, try switching to a different brand and feed it to your dog with dry food mixed in.

A number of problems can cause digestive problems, like sensitivity to the food he is eating or could also have another problem which requires a visit to the vet.

German shepherds like regularity. Do not feed them scraps from the table and buy a good dog food for lively, adult, energetic dogs containing lots of animal protein.

Try talking to you vet it may have something to do with the food you are feeding or your feeding program. I have never really met a shepard with an issue like that.

Try switching them to a dog food that does not contain grain. Many dogs are grain intolerant and grains will cause constant digestive upsets. You can also try adding a probiotic or a digestive enzyme to their diet.

Well if your dog is having digestive problems, then the dog needs to be treated. Suddenly, the dog may lose rapid weight and it won't be good for a dog.

Try experimenting with their food. Oftentimes digestive problems arise from some kind of food allergy. Your dogs might be allergic to corn, which is in most dog foods you buy at a grocery store, or they might be allergic to certain protein sources, such as chicken or lamb.
