What can I do about a riding mower that won't turn over?

My riding mower just stopped working.

You should check the starter and make sure there is nothing wrong there. It is probably best to just call or email the company and get help from them.

If your riding mower will not start I recommend taking it to your local small engine repair shop. If this is not an option you should check the oil level. After that drain the gas with a siphon and check it for water. Also, changing the spark plugs and air filter could help if they are bad.

Check the battery and make sure it has power. If it does then there may be a problem with the starter. Also check the wires connecting to the starter.

It could be a number of things that are going wrong on the mower. The worst case scenario is that the engine has quit completely. If this is the case the best thing you can really do is buy another engine or get a new lawn mower.There also is a possibility that an animal chewed through the wires causing problems.
