Nothing too much. Usually you can get some benadryll to take and that will help with the itching. Calamine lotion is now made clear so you could get some of that and rub it on your face. If you are having pain then you should alternate ibprofin and tylenol every four hours.

Whenever someone procures poison ivy, it is important to scrub with soap and water on the infected areas for 10 minutes to prevent spreading through the plants oil. Also wash your clothes. For infection in sensitive areas like the face you can get a prescription for a steroid from a doctor that relieves the itch faster.

If you don't want to use a topical cream such as Calamine lotion you could take Benadryl. Your doctor can also give you a prescription for topical or oral steroid creams if it is pretty severe. Using an oatmeal face wash will give you some relief also.
