Begin by getting a doctors exam. After determining exactly what's out of whack, you can proceed. Hormone replacement therapy is an option for menopausal women although many physicians increasingly think progesterone may be more important than estrogen. Estrogen therapy has side effects. Clean up your diet. Eliminate red meat, alcohol, caffeine, etc. The same approach applies for other hormonal imbalances.

You can get put on medication and most of the time this will help alot. Also sometimes diet change and excersise will help alot in many cases. Sometimes if you add vitamins this could be helpful as well.

There are many hormones in your body and they must be properly diagnosed to determine a treatment. See your doctor and have some testing done to determine what you need.
