What can be done for a beagle with bladder cancer?

As someone with a beagle who has this condition, seeing a vet is first. Dog is on antibiotics and prednisone, not alot can be done if the cancer is advanced.

Your doctor can recommend chemotherapy, but you need to take into consideration the dog's age and general health before getting treatment. Also get a second opinion.

this depends whether you can afford surgery or treatment. Bladder cancers are often intact if they are found early: Ask the veterinarian to run an ultrasound to give an indication in this regard. After consulting about the results, decide whether surgery will be effective and go ahead if it is.

Listen to your vet. But more than likely, pain control is going to be the most important thing during this time.
