It depends on what caused it. It could be sick or it could be depressed about something. Take it to the vet to make sure it's healthy.

Take your dog to the vet, if there is no medical reason why your dog is acting they way he is then it may just be a case of him getting older in which case you can tempt him with his favorite toy or with wet kitten food.

If this lasts for more than one day take your dog to the Vet. To get your dog to eat try giving them boiled chicken or broth over their food.
