What are your alternatives if you are allergic to latex condoms?

I want to make sure my girlfriend does not get pregnant.

There are both silicone and lambskin condoms available on the market, and both of these will protect against unwanted pregnancy. Please be aware that lambskin condoms will not prevent the spread of HIV. Alternatively, your girlfriend can also use several methods of birth control such as the pill, an IUD, or a diaphragm.

Lambskin is probably the best (though expensive) answer. If your girlfriend is on birth control such as the pill... and you trust her... then let loose without a condom. It's much more enjoyable anyways.

Look for non-latex condoms, they will be labeled as such. Do not use this as an excuse to not use condoms and risk infection with an STD. If you are in a committed, long-term relationship it may be appropriate to look at other forms of birth control like the pill.

Females can use condoms that are now available on the market. The other alternative is the use of the birth control pill. You can ask your girlfriend about that. Many girls use birth control anyway

There are several types of condoms besides latex ones. You can also use other birth control methods, such as the pill.
