What are "unaccredited" schools?

Why do they exist at all?

Accredited schools may become unaccredited when they do not meet academic or enrollment standards or simply failed to file paperwork in time. Some schools exist to teach subjects that do not meed accreditation standards, such as some religious programs, alternative healing, and art.

Good question. Unaccredited schools can provide you with education, but not with the paperwork that certifies that education in most settings. I don't recommend them at all.
