What are treatment options for a torn tendon in your hand?

Answer by  Laquesha (61)

Immediate treatment for a torn tendon in the hand includes applying ice and compressing the injured area of the hand. Secondly, a splint may help stabilize the hand while transporting to the emergency room. Once at the hospital, a surgeon will sew the tendon back to the bone or muscle.
