Igneous - created from magma. Sedimentary - created from crushed/disolved rock. Metamorphic - created by sedimentary rock put under extreme heat and pressure changing its chemisty.

#1: Sedimentary rocks - created by the compression of materials such as clay. \ #2: Metamorphic rocks - Rocks that have been transfromed from one type of rock to another through the process of heat and pressure. It "recrysalizes" but does not melt. #3:Igneous rocks - Usually volcanic lava that cools without crystalization.
