When ending treatment with benzodiazepines, the symptoms that warranted the drug in the first place can reappear and seem exaggerated - anxiety, agitation, social phobia, trouble sleeping, panic attacks, trouble concentrating, etc. It is also common for people to crave higher doses than what they were receiving after the end of their treatment.
