Some symptoms of ear infections are headache, loss of hearing, and sinus congestion. If you suspect you have an ear infection first check your temperature, ear infections are almost always accompanied by fevers. If fever is present seek medical treatment immediately

There could be some drainage from the ear. The drainage could be blood or pus or just clear fluid. Also, you could experience pain, sometimes intense pain. It could also cause dizziness. If you turn your head, sometimes dizziness occurs. If you close your eyes when standing, sometimes your body begins to feel unsteady, as if you were drunk.

Ear infections often arise 2 to 7 days after the onset of an upper respiratory infection, indicating the spread of inflammation to the middle ear. Common symptoms in adults are fever, ear pain/ache, fluid drainage from the ear, decreased hearing or hearing loss, stuffy sensation in the ear, irritability and dizziness.

Symptoms of an ear infection can include pain, a feeling of the ear being "plugged" and difficulty hearing. Only a doctor can truly diagnose an ear infection.

Pain is symptom of ear infection. The ear will appear red, especially the inner ear. Often the ear feels hot and sometimes it gets swollen. A rash might occur, too.
