Gothic coats are usually black. They can be a black monochromatic patterned black or be made from velvet material. Often gothic coats will have ruffled necklines and be double breasted. Usually they are longer in length and sit beneath the bum. Look for jackets that might have cuffed sleeves are ruffles.

The colors should be dark for this style. Also, it is good to incorporate metal or chains of some sort. The length of the coat should have be longer and more exaggerated.

Gothic coats are usually dark colors; such as black, gray, purple, or navy blue. There tends to be a lot of silver too, and chains, buckles, and buttons as well.

The basic style element of a Gothic type coat is that they are mostly black, sometimes with a little red color. The Gothic person wants a coat with many buttons, longer, with a some "dark" designs, such as perhaps a cross, skeleton, or Celtic cross.
