What are the steps for merging QuickBooks transactions?

If you are in the single user mode, there is a way to merge to accounts. Keep in mind, that you can not redo this action. Go to lists, chart of accounts. Select the account with the name you do not want to use anymore. Change this name to the name of the account you want it to merge with.

You would have to do is export a transaction journal from one QB database, and message it to fit the import format requirements, and then import it into the other.
