An obvious sign of a fungal infection of the toenail is a yellow discoloration of the nail itself. To treat one, the easiest most effective cure is oral anti-fungal medication.

When your toenails become infected with a fungus, your nails turns an ugly pale color with a yellow tint. The nails becomes very brittle and thick--very unsightly. Perxiode is an oxidation process and destroys almost if not all bacteria. Soaking your feet in a solution of warm water and perxiode on a regular basis should clear the matter in time.
