The accused has the right to face the accuser, to know who is accusing them of the crime. They have the right to an attorney, but can chose not to have one. They have the right to a jury trial in most cases, as well as to let it be heard by a judge.

The rights of the accused are: You have the right to remain silent (meaning you cannot be forced to incriminate yourself); you have the right to a have an attorney present during questioning; and if you cannot afford to hire an attorney, one will be provided for you.
