What are the requirements for a social worker?

I would like to know the requirements to become a social worker.

Each state and different levels are different in every state. If you look on your state website you can find more information. In Massachusetts you will need 3 letters of reference and one has to include someone that has their license already. Then you need to take the ASWAB exam.

Requirements differ from state to state. Often you need at least a bachelor's degree in social work for the lowest level of license and a masters degree for a higher level. You may also have to pass a test. With a masters and some experience, you can eventually get a Ph. D. and be involved in higher education.

IN most states, the educational requirements for a social worker is a bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university. You must also pass a background check and a drug test.

Social worker requirements : In college they must learn in different ways to help the people,they must finish atleast bachelor degree(BA,BSC,BSW) or some master degree (MA,MSC,MSW) their studies must always include PSYCHOLOGY,SOCIOLOGY, ETHICS,CIVIL LAW & ECONOMICS. They must be always be right person to fight for the right thing and to help for others.
