This is a very difficult question to answer without any background information, because every state has different requirements for a marriage license. Some states do require a blood test, but that is not very common. Most states will just require both of your ids and possibly your birth certificate, but you should check your state government website.

Those who intend to get married must be over 18 years of age or have parental consent if at least 16 years old. Valid photo identification needs to be shown at the Clerk's Office. If you have been married before, proof of the divorce is required. If you are not a U.S. citizen, proof of alien registration is required.

The requirements for a marriage license vary from state to state but most will require a blood test, valid ID, and proof of divorce if either party was previously married.
