Rear drum brakes are supposed to adjust on their own. When you put your vehicle in reverse, it activates a lever which pushes the shoes tight against the drum. So you shouldn't need to adjust them.

A car's rear drum brakes automatically adjust every time the car is put into reverse. The adjustment wheel will crank whenever the brake lever in the car is pressed while it is in the reverse gear. To speed the process you can use an adjustment tool to crank the wheel behind the drum several times.
