Pro's are predictable periods, lighter periods. Con's are it is a triphasic pill so skipping periods is not as easy as with other pills. Other con's depend on the person who is using it, but it may cause bloating, decreased sex drive, mood swings. The best way to find out if it works for you is trying it 3 months.

  • I've used this for years and I'm a big fan. I have less of all of the symptoms associated with PMS and even common side effects of birth control pills.

The Ortho tricylen pill is a brand name for birth control. The pros of this product is that it helps your body to regulate and balance the production of hormones that affects from being pregnant like progesterone. The cons of this is women taking this birth control pills are prone to cardiovascular diseases like stroke and hypertension.

Ortho Tricyclen carries the same risks as any oral contraceptive. Most side effects are not serious, weight gain, spotting, leading to the more serious such as heart disease and high blood pressure. These are increased by smoking. The cons are plentiful, regulated periods, pregnancy prevention, and a hormonal balance. Always consult your doctor when taking any medication.
