Most find the largest problem to be the lack of infrastructure. Critics of the hydrogen fuel-cell car believe that a vehicle that utilizes an infrastructure already in place, such as the electrical grid, are more cost effective and appealing to consumers.

Most people don't like the idea of driving around with a tank filled with pressurized gas. Secondly the cost of a hydrogen vehicle is still more than a standard vehicle.
