What are the nursing home laws in Alabama?

My mother just moved to a nursing home that we carefully chose, but I feel like she is being mistreated.

I live in Mobile and have a good friend who is the director of a nursing home in Fairhope. She said that there are quite a few laws in place. If you think your mom is being neglected or abused you should contact a specialized attorney for a free consultation.

My gramma was once in a nursing home in Durham and they were messing with her money. We found out the hard way that it was difficult to prove abuse even though they stole money from her and neglected her too. I hope everything works out okay for ya'll.

Alabama nursing home abuse covers falls, dehydration, malnutrition, improper dispensation of medications, pressure or bed sores, general neglect and any abusive behavior. You should notate dates and times as well as take pictures of any signs of suspected abuse. They will be helpful in any legal situation that develops.

In addition to what you've said here statistics imply that Alabama has some of the worst standards for nursing homes compared to other states.  add a comment
