You should have some type of aquarium filled with sand deep enough for the crab to burrow, but not so deep as to negate the effects of the tank heater. The tank should be no less than 72 degrees with humidity of 70% or higher. Of course, food and water.

They require dry land (divide it sand and gravel - not mixed). Water is necessary, but if the dish is too deep they will drowned. Try a shallow dish with a sponge, water level barely over the sponge. Ensure many sized shells for if it grows and needs to switch.

De-chlorinized and salty water, a shallow water dish, a shallow food dish and stuff to climb on. That should make for a happy crab.

Everthing that everyone else has said, but make sure water is dechlorinated, and salt water is NOT made with table salt. Also, make sure they can't escape with the help from their climbing toys!  add a comment

They need a glass aqarium or terrarium with a lid, a gauge to check the humidity & tempature, extra cells, fresh food and dechlorinated water, saltwater and bowl.
