Any dogs would attack if you train them to. But as far as I know, the popular attack dogs are Dobermans, Rottweilers, Pit bulls, and Presa Canario. They're even listed as the most dangerous dogs.

The most useful breeds for attack dogs are rottweilers, dobermans, and German shepherds, as well as pitt bulls. Although other breeds are used for attack and guard work, these breeds have a natural inclination to defend their territories and owners as well as the size to be formidable.

Many types of dogs can be trained to be efficient attack dogs, but these have a natural inclination for the job: mastiffs, german shepherds, pit bulls, dobermans, ridgebacks, rottweilers, american bulldogs, inus (akita and tosa), bouvier des flandres. Some less common breeds include the Fila Brasileiro, Giant Schnauzer and the Ca de Bou.

There are a variety of dogs that can be used as guard or attack dogs. Different lines of the Mastiff and bull terrier breeds are also amoung the favorites of people. Though the number one choice is the German Shepherd dog. This is a very intelligent breed that needs proper training from day one or it may be a nightmare.

The best thing for you is to get a German Shepherd and enroll it in Schutzen training. However this training needs to be taken very seriously and the dog must be worked with often, but it is very effective. Its what police dogs in Germany go through.
