This breed of birds are to be kept together during the mating process, do not seperate them. The male will feed the female. They also do a ritual dance with lowered wings. The female can lay one to four eggs and handles the incubation time by herself. Both male and female care for the babies.

Male and female birds both will have mating displays, the displays may be different. But both are aimed for dsplaying their reproductive parts to their chosen (mate). Some , African Grey parrots will dance and sing for their mates it shows the he he is interested. They tend to show off for their mate.

Ideally your unrelated Greys should grow up together with minimal human interaction so they will bond strongly, and will produce at 4 yrs on average. Please consult experienced breeders.
