Arizona limits the length of a "captive convoy" to 65 feet. Depending on what it towed, a special license may be required. Check with the DMV.

In Arizona, Maximum Dimensions for trailer: 40'L x 8w x 13', 6'H. Max length w/trailer: 65'H max length w/trailer 65'. 2 trailers: max length 28'6" must be towed by truck tractor. No state allows you to train two trailers on ball hitches. Best wisdom is call your state DOT and do it right, save fines, save lives.

Towing laws in Arizona, like most States, are unfairly punitive. They are designed to make money for law enforcement and their cronies. These laws are regressive. The wealthy banker that has his Porsche towed pays the same as the guy who breaks down trying to get to work.
