Walnut extract can be used as a gargle to treat sore throats , can by applied topically in a cream to relieve skin irritation, can be used to dye hair and clothing, and can be used to treat intestinal parasites.

Walnut extract can be used as a flavoring for anything from cakes to cookies, frosting and even ice cream. It is also used in some main dish recipes such as walnut chicken. In addition to cooking, walnut extract has also been recognized for helping to limit intestinal parasites and as a deterent to the onset of age related macular degeneration.

2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup margarine 1 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 bananas 1/4 cup buttermilk 2 tablespoons walnut extract Cream shortening;sugar.Add eggs.Add remaining ingredients.Bake.

Walnut extract can take the place of vanilla or almond extracts in just about anything you are cooking. It would be great in cookies or cakes, especially coffee cake. You could also put a dash into your salad dressing for something different.

If you like the flavor of walnuts in a recipe but not the nuts themselves, the extract will give the flavor or adding it with nuts gives extra flavor

It can be gargled for mouth and throat irritations. It has some sort of inflammatory effects and can lessen the swelling in your throat. It can also be used on skin conditions and interestingly enough can be used to treat herpes and hemmeroids.
