There are many different types of microprocessors, both in terms of capability and brand Multi-core processors:It allow a much speedier system tel processor : Its microprocessors include the Pentium, Celeron and Core lines. AMD is Intel's main microprocessor : Its microprocessors include the Athlon, Phenom lines.

based on the bit of operation micro processors are of four types,they are 8bi,16bit,32 bit,64 bit.then another type is risc machines..that is reduced instruction set architecture
