What are the differences between coast guards and navy seals?

coast guards are for guarding the coast of our country. The navy seals have more extensive and extreme training to go into hostile territory and do rescue missions to get hostages out or do recon to get information about the area or the people or terrorists. The coast guard have none of this type of training.

The navy seals are a force that protects the country from attack from another country or person, protects a nation in war. The coastguard are there to rescue people in distress on the seas such as swimmers and boats that are in difficulty and people could be in danger of drowning.

Well or starters the Coast Guard and Navy are two different branches. Personally I think the Coast Guard is light years ahead of every other branch if your looking to join. CG is more laid back and the Navy is more, well like the military.

The Coast Guards are a group with an extremely hard boot camp only the marines have a harder one but as a coast guard member you will never be shipped to another country.The seals like the marines are the elite of the elite the best soldiers in the world. Trained to be perfect killing machines and masters of fighting.
