Attending both the University of St. Thomas and the Universtiy of Texas without obtaining degrees, Gray received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Creative Intelligence from Maharishi European Research University in Switzerland, although controversy surrounds the legitimacy. Gray obtained a PHD from Columbia Pacific University via correspondence courses. Gray is a certified family therapist and member of the ACA.

John Gray has appeared on Oprah, as well as the Dr. Oz show and many other talk shows. He has a PhD, from Columbia Pacific University, through a correspondence course.

John has his PhD and is a relationship therapist. I do not know the exact field he studied in the general field of psychology. He has written several books on relationships.

I believe that he has conducted relationship seminars for over 30 years. He has also written several books on the subject of human relationships. I think he would also list as credentials his observations of realtionships as a son and a husband.
