Holly plants have thick, waxy green leaves, and grow berries that are initially green but red when they ripen. These berries are poisonous.

holly plants will be ever green ie, the leaves in the holly will be found year round. both male and female holly will be reproductiveand give the flower white.

Holly normally grows up to 100 feet. The bark of it is smooth, and grayish to grayish-brown which branches grow nearly horizontal in spreading crown, which takes a pyramidal silhouette.

They usually don't grow to be very big and they are a beautiful green leaved with red berried plant. They make beautilfull littile shrubs also.

Waxy green leaves with short spines, clusters of white flowers which develop into red berries late in the year. Most hollies are actually trees and can get quite large.
