What are the characteristics of a Maltese-Chihuahua mix?

Chihuahua are usually pretty territorial, they think they are much bigger than they are and usually bark a lot. While a maltese is in general pretty calm and playful. However, I do have a chihuahua that rarely barks and is in love with everyone. It just depends on the pup.

They can be very snippy and snotty more so if they are raised with no kids or other pets or people around they never learn to shre and by the time they are 6 months old they claim ownership of their human they become very emotionally attached very quickly. other than that they are good.

Our little malchi is an absolutely wonderful little dog. She just turned a year and has a bubbly personality and seems happy all the time. She is also very intelligent and easy to train. Perfect family addition!
