Chameleons can be kept in captivity in a mesh inclosure with a ficus plant to hid in and a full spectrum light that is on for at least 12 hours. You will need to mist them with water serval times a day as they drink off the leaves. Feed them crickets and other calcium dusted insects daily.
Chameleons can live in a wide variety of habitats. They are found in dry deserts, tropical areas, rainy woodlands, forests with trees, thorn forests, and grasslands.
