Sometimes having too much Vitamin C in your diet can cause watery stools, another cause can be that you are allergic to a certain food. Staying hydrated is most important.

Watery stools are usually caused by a microbial infection which causes your colon to secrete fluid rather than absorb water. Watery stools can lead to dehydration, even if you drink water. There are treatments for watery stools, but you need to see a physician in order to be properly diagnosed.

If it goes on for weeks, the most common cause is an inflammation of the bowels (Celiac disease, Crohn's disease, lactose intolerance).

Watery stool means that your intestines are not absorbing water. This can be caused by bowel conditions which cause inflammation (colitis, crohn's), some viruses, and bacterial or parasitic infections. If you are suffering prolonged diarrhea, you should see your doctor and take care to avoid dehydration in the mean time.
